Spider Vein and other skin blemishes
Vasculyse 2G can treat many different skin problems including skin tags and vascular problems. This non-invasive procedure is virtually painless, depending on the area of treatment. It uses mild currents that have been employed in the aesthetic world for more than four decades. Patients do feel a heat sensation and the larger the lesion the warmer it feels. For those concerned about pain a topical anesthetic and ice can be applied. Vasculyse is very popular because it is safe and effective for not only spider veins, but also other skin conditions such as "cherry spots" and skin tags. This treatment can be done on the face, arms and the legs which are the areas more prone to spider veins.
Which conditions can be treated with Vasculyse?
· Telangiectasia (severe capillaries and broken blood vessels)
· Blotchiness (superficial telangiectasia)
· Stellar Angioma (spider vein or vascular spider)
· Flat Ruby Points (red dots that are flat against the skin)
· Raised Ruby Points (red dots on the skin that are raised like a mole)
· Flat Skin Tag (a skin tag that is often the same colour or a little darker than your natural skin)
· Skin Tag with Stem (an extra bit of skin that grows away from the body on a piece of skin)
· Milia (small white bumps usually under the eye)
· Cholesterol Deposits (what bumps of varying sizes that generally appear around the eye area)
What Are Spider Veins?
Spider veins can deter from the skin's healthy look and appearance. The occurrence of these veins cannot be controlled but fortunately, they can be treated. They are red, blue or purple vein-like lines under the skin layer that many men and women suffer from. A series of small veins or capillaries break out from a center point and resemble a "spider" and often form a mesh-like appearance. Spider veins, also called telangiectasias, can occur due to increased pressure on these tiny blood vessels. They can be due to hormonal fluctuations during pregnancy and menstruation, or develop from skin trauma, sun damage and the natural aging process. Conditions such as rosacea can also contribute to their occurrence. Spider veins on the face are most common around the nose and cheeks. Spider-veins on the legs can commonly develop over time, and can be exacerbated by sitting or standing for long periods of time or from weight gain.
Vasculyse Treatment
During a Vasculyse treatment, very low levels of electric current are applied with a micro needle to the tiny veins or capillaries on the skin surface. This causes the distended capillaries to coagulate. The collapsed capillaries no longer fill with blood and are then absorbed by the body. In time there is regeneration of new capillaries that are healthy. This greatly improves the appearance of the skin and the spider veins disappear. The process is quick and causes absolutely no pain. Treatment involves one to three sessions depending on the severity. Immediately after treatment, there is minimal skin reaction, which disappears within no time. There is no recovery time involved and the treatment can be done as a lunchtime procedure.
For lesions like skin tags and sebaceous keratosis the machine uses a radio frequency to cauterize the lesion in question. Because of the very fine needle used to treat these lesions, the main benefit is that only the affected area is treated, leaving the surrounding skin untouched. (Other options your physician could use to treat these same lesions are: liquid nitrogen, and surgically removing the lesions.)
This non-invasive procedure is virtually painless, depending on the area of treatment. It uses mild currents that have been employed in the aesthetic world for more than four decades. Patients do feel a heat sensation and the larger the lesion the warmer it feels. For those concerned about pain a topical anesthetic and ice can be applied, in rare cases local anesthetic is used to ensure client comfort.
Vasculyse is a highly effective, safe, non-invasive treatment for spider veins with virtually no side effects. They are visibly reduced after treatment and the skin looks clear and healthy. The result of Vasculyse treatment is amazing and long lasting, leaving a healthy, clear skin.
What can I expect after treatment?
Directly after treatment you may experience some small scabs which will only be temporary. These will go away within the next couple of days exposing smooth clear skin. As the technology only uses mild currents the procedure should be relatively painless and will require very little downtime with no lasting pain after the procedure.
