A course of peels, close to home

A course of peels means coming back, usually every four weeks, and that's far simpler when the clinic is easy to get to. At Fairview Mall we treat uneven tone, sun damage, fine lines, and acne-prone skin with medical-grade chemical peels and Silkpeel Dermalinfusion, controlled acid resurfacing of the skin's outer layers. For the acids, the depths, and what each one treats, read our full guide to chemical peels in Toronto. Everything else is practical: getting to Fairview Mall, the consultation, and the visits themselves.

Your clinic at Fairview Mall

Established 2010

Your clinic at Fairview Mall

Lucie Mé offers advanced non-surgical treatments in Toronto, and the North York clinic carries that standard into CF Fairview Mall. Peels here are delivered by medically trained professionals, and everything begins with a complimentary consultation where your skin type, history, and concerns decide the recommendation.

Your visit

Fitted into an ordinary day

Arriving

The mall lots outside are free to park in, and Don Mills station connects to the building itself. Pick whichever suits the day; either way there's no downtown traffic and no garage fee.

The skin assessment

Your first appointment is complimentary. The clinician looks at your skin type and history, talks through what's bothering you, and recommends a peel depth and a realistic number of sessions.

The peel

A peel takes 20 to 45 minutes including preparation. After a surface peel or Silkpeel there's no significant downtime, so the rest of the mall trip can carry on as planned.

Local questions

Chemical peels in North York, answered

Can I drive myself home after a chemical peel?

Yes. A chemical peel doesn't affect your ability to drive, so you can park in the free Fairview Mall lots, have your treatment, and drive straight home afterwards. A peel appointment takes 20 to 45 minutes including preparation, and after a surface peel the skin may look a little pink for a few hours, which has no bearing on driving. If you're booked for a deeper peel, the clinician will walk you through what to expect before the appointment, but driving home is still fine.

Can I carry on with my errands straight after a peel?

After a surface peel or a Silkpeel Dermalinfusion, yes. Surface peels have minimal downtime: the skin may be slightly pink for a few hours and feel tight or dry for a couple of days, with light flaking later in the week. Silkpeel has essentially no downtime at all. Medium-depth peels are different, with visible peeling for five to ten days, so plan those around your calendar rather than around the shopping. Being inside Fairview Mall means the appointment slots into the middle of a normal errand list.

Is winter a good time to start a course of peels?

Peels run year-round, and there's no wrong season provided you keep to the sun protection your clinician sets out. That said, the aftercare for every peel involves avoiding direct sun, for at least a week after a surface peel and longer after deeper ones, and that's simply easier to do in the colder months. The Fairview Mall location helps here too: you park or step off the subway and arrive indoors, so a January appointment doesn't mean standing in the weather.

What's the easiest way to reach the clinic by TTC?

Ride Line 4 to Don Mills station, which connects directly to Fairview Mall, so you can reach the clinic without going outdoors. Coming from the Yonge line, transfer at Sheppard-Yonge and Don Mills is four stops east. That direct connection matters more for peels than for most treatments, because a course of surface peels typically means four to six visits spaced four weeks apart. If you're unsure of the route inside the mall on your first visit, call (416) 492-6111 and we'll direct you.

Is chemical peel pricing the same at both Lucie Mé locations?

Yes. Chemical peel pricing is identical at the Fairview Mall and Yorkville clinics, so choose whichever location suits your life. What a course costs depends on the peel type, the depth your skin needs, and how many sessions the plan calls for, which is why we don't publish a single figure. Book the complimentary consultation at (416) 492-6111 and the clinician will recommend the right peel for your skin, set out the course it needs, and go through the pricing with you.
