Your first visit is a complimentary consultation, where the clinician looks at your lips at rest and in movement and recommends a gel and a starting amount.

Treatment and after

The treatment visit, numbing included, fits inside an hour. Your lips will look fuller than the final result while the swelling settles, so give yourself about two weeks before photographs that matter.

Can lip filler fit around errands on Bloor Street?

Easily. The appointment, numbing time included, fits inside an hour, and you're free to get on with your afternoon on Bloor Street. Two aftercare details are worth sequencing around. Your lips need leaving alone for the first 24 hours, which rules out lipstick, so do any beauty-counter testing before the appointment rather than after. And because heat and exertion both increase swelling, save the gym and anything sauna-adjacent for another day. Beyond that, carry on: browsing, errands, and the subway home are all fine straight away.

Can I drive myself home after lip filler?

Yes. Lip filler involves no sedation; the numbing comes from a cream on the lips and lidocaine within the gel itself, so nothing affects your eyes, reflexes, or judgement behind the wheel. If you're driving in, there's paid parking in the Holt Renfrew Centre's garage and in other lots close by, and the garage is the easier choice at busy times of day. Expect your lips to feel tender and look swollen on the way home; that's the normal first stage of the result, and it eases over the next few days.

Is there a better season for lip filler?

The treatment works the same in January as in July, so the real calendar question is what's coming up in your diary. Lips swell after filler and the final shape settles at around two weeks, so book at least two weeks ahead of weddings, holiday parties, or anything you'll be photographed at, and leave extra room if you'd like the option of an adjustment. Summer bookings come with one note: saunas, steam, and hot environments are off the list for the first day or two, so plan hot-weather activities accordingly. Otherwise, book whenever suits you.
