Can a skin tag be removed at the consultation itself?

Often, yes. If the lesion is a straightforward benign one, the clinician can remove it during the same visit, so a single trip to the Holt Renfrew Centre covers both the assessment and the treatment. Lesions that need more time, or a larger number of them, are booked as a separate appointment, and anything that looks at all atypical is referred to a dermatologist instead of being removed. How much of a working day does removal take?

The removal itself typically takes between two and ten minutes per lesion. Because the clinic is steps from Bloor-Yonge station, the whole visit, travel included, can fit inside a lunch break. The treated spot may look a little pink afterwards, but you can carry on with your day immediately. Is winter a better time to have sun spots removed?

There's a practical case for it. Can I park in the centre's garage and drive myself home afterwards?

Yes on both counts. The Holt Renfrew Centre has its own paid garage, and there are more paid lots within a block or two if it's full. There's nothing about skin tag removal that affects your ability to drive; the treatment is brief and normal activity resumes straight away, so parking, being treated, and driving home in the same hour is entirely realistic.
