Skin tag removal on Bloor Street
A skin tag or a sun spot takes only a few minutes to treat, and you can have it done at Bloor and Yonge. We remove skin tags, sun spots, cherry angiomas, milia, and other benign lesions using cryotherapy, thermocoagulation, or hyfrecation, whichever suits the lesion. For the detail on the three devices and what each one treats best, read our full guide to skin tag and lesion removal in Toronto. Here's how a visit to the Holt Renfrew Centre runs.
Established 2010
Unit C10, Holt Renfrew Centre
Lucie Mé was established in 2010, and its Yorkville clinic sits at unit C10 in the Holt Renfrew Centre, 50 Bloor Street West. Lesion removal here is delivered by medically trained professionals, and it always starts with a complimentary consultation, because the first job is confirming that each lesion is a straightforward benign one. Anything that looks unusual is referred to a dermatologist rather than removed.
Your visit
A small procedure that fits a short window
Arriving
Enter the Holt Renfrew Centre from Bloor Street and you'll find us at unit C10. Coming by subway, Bloor-Yonge station is steps from the building; coming by car, the centre's garage has paid parking and there are more paid lots close by.
The consultation
The clinician examines each lesion you want removed, confirms it's suitable for cosmetic removal, and recommends the right device for it. Straightforward lesions are sometimes removed at this first visit; others are booked as a separate appointment. The consultation is complimentary.
Treatment and after
Removal itself is brief, typically a few minutes per lesion, and there's little to do afterwards: keep the area clean, don't pick at it, and use SPF while it heals. You'll walk out and carry on with your day.

Local questions
Skin tag removal in Yorkville, answered
Can a skin tag be removed at the consultation itself?
Often, yes. If the lesion is a straightforward benign one, the clinician can remove it during the same visit, so a single trip to the Holt Renfrew Centre covers both the assessment and the treatment. Lesions that need more time, or a larger number of them, are booked as a separate appointment, and anything that looks at all atypical is referred to a dermatologist instead of being removed. If a same-visit removal matters to you, say so when you book on (416) 637-7377. The consultation itself is complimentary either way.
How much of a working day does removal take?
The removal itself typically takes between two and ten minutes per lesion. Because the clinic is steps from Bloor-Yonge station, the whole visit, travel included, can fit inside a lunch break. The treated spot may look a little pink afterwards, but you can carry on with your day immediately. Aftercare is simple: keep the spot clean, leave it alone, and protect it with SPF while it heals, nothing that interrupts a working afternoon. If your calendar is tight, mention it when you book.
Is winter a better time to have sun spots removed?
There's a practical case for it. Healing sites need strict sun protection, because pigmentation change at the treated spot is the main thing careful aftercare prevents, and that's simply easier to manage in a Toronto winter than in July. Sun spots treated with cryotherapy typically darken briefly and then flake away as the skin renews, so allow a couple of weeks of healing before any event where the area will be on show. If you're planning around a date, mention it at the consultation.
Is skin tag removal pricing the same at both Lucie Mé locations?
Yes. Removal costs the same whether you come to Yorkville or to our Fairview Mall clinic, so the choice between them should come down to which one you can get to more easily. We don't publish a price list for this treatment because the cost depends on how many lesions you want removed, what they are, and which device each one needs, and no single figure would fit everyone. At the complimentary consultation the clinician assesses what you'd like removed and discusses the pricing for your specific list.
Can I park in the centre's garage and drive myself home afterwards?
Yes on both counts. The Holt Renfrew Centre has its own paid garage, and there are more paid lots within a block or two if it's full. There's nothing about skin tag removal that affects your ability to drive; the treatment is brief and normal activity resumes straight away, so parking, being treated, and driving home in the same hour is entirely realistic. If you'd rather not pay for downtown parking at all, Bloor-Yonge station is the easier option, and it's steps from the centre's doors.
